The first thing we needed to line up was a chicken coop. Of course, my wife wasn't satisfied with a simple 'shack' (the chickens wouldn't care). She wanted something 'cute'. We scoured Craigslist and finally found a guy with an old shed he wanted to get rid of.

The shed looks like a miniature barn. It required a little work to make it 'shiny and new' again. I had to replace a couple of wood panels, then we gave it a fresh coat of paint (okay, some of it still needs that fresh coat of paint, but that hasn't happened yet). We used an old piece of picket fence we'd removed from our front lawn as a decorative accent.

On the left of the coop we have the nesting boxes. On the right is the roost area. The coop supports 30 chickens.
